This is classic Maine coastline which reminds us of the west Coast of Canada...

Sunday 27th September and we are lucky enough to have a clear evening and a fabulous view of the lunar eclipse...
![]() |
Being 5 hours behind UK the eclipse was at a very decent time for us between 9 and 10pm....

Considering I didn't have a tripod just Yorkieman's shoulder I am very pleased with the results :)

Monday morning and the second of our scenic drives , this time to the Schoodic Peninsular....

Yorkieman spots a bald eagle soaring but I was unable to capture it as I was the driver.......

Once again we've had a very picturesque coastal drive...

Hi Sue & Michael,
ReplyDeleteGreat pics as always.Good to see you are picking the best lunch spots.Love the lunar photos.Certainly glad that I do not have to check on 800 lobster pots!
Weekend to look forward to and weather is surprisingly good.
Enjoy,
Ann & Dave
Hi Ann & Dave
ReplyDeleteThe lunar eclipse was truly spectacular...
Enjoy your weekend and great weather....there is heavy rain forecast for some eastern states this weekend, all part of hurricane Joaquin..but hoping we are now far enough west...it is cold though...down to a point above freezing last night and we live in a tin can !! Yorkieman wants to go back to the desert !!!
Hi Michael & Sue, it looks like you are having another great trip. It is 3:00 am in Philadelphia, jet lag following our trip from the UK yesterday, so I am using the time to catch up with your blog. New England in the Fall looks stunning, it is definitely on our bucket list in the next few years, we will have to pick your brains the next time we get together back in Blighty! We move onto Fort Myers in Florida today flying down in a small plane through the east coast storm, should be exciting :-0 Enjoy the rest of your trip, hopefully we can have a catch up in Liphook in December when we visit for my mothers birthday. Love to you both Trevor & Marion xx
ReplyDeleteWelcome to this side of the pond :)...we hope that your flight down is ok and that you have a great time in Florida...OMG there is frost out there this morning, it was hard to get the courage to get out from under the duvet, quilt and blankets as 40 degrees in here until I put on the furnace !!! Last week strappy top ( and that's just Yorkieman) and this week vest, long sleeved tee and fleece !!! But not complaining as we are not effected by Hurricane Joaquin...Have fun and look forward to seeing you in December...xxxx
