Tourists for the day to Boston....our train from Newburyport to Boston, the journey an hour and 10 minutes and excellent value at $10.50 return....it's senior's rate (one good thing about this ageing process) and no restriction on time of travel....one hiccup was that parking has to be paid by downloading an app to your phone...ho hum our pay-as-you go Walmart phone not up to that !!! Apparently they will invoice the vehicle owner if no fee paid on the day, we shall see... Nice smooth ride and interesting countryside, marshy and very similar to Norfolk and the Broads area... |
